Helping children move, grow, and thrive — one milestone at a time.
Dr. Kidz Physio is a pediatric physical therapy practice in Nallagandla, Hyderabad, dedicated entirely to infants, toddlers, children, and young athletes — building strength, movement, balance, and independence through individualized, evidence-informed care.
When your child's movement doesn't seem to be progressing the way you expected, it's natural to have questions — and to want answers from someone who looks at children, specifically, all day long.
Children develop at their own pace, but concerns like these deserve a thoughtful look, not a wait-and-see shrug:
An evaluation doesn't commit you to anything — it simply gives you clarity on how your child is moving today, from someone trained specifically in pediatric development.

Early support can make a meaningful difference.
The first years of life are when the foundations of movement are built — head control, rolling, sitting, crawling, pulling to stand, standing, and walking. When one of these skills is slow to emerge, early, targeted support often helps more than waiting does.
Pediatric physical therapy for infants and toddlers focuses on functional developmental skills: building the strength, balance, and coordination behind each milestone — while helping parents understand exactly what they're seeing, and what they can do at home in between sessions.
Early Intervention at Dr. Kidz Physio includes newborn and infant programs, high-risk infant follow-up for NICU discharges, and reflex integration support — always paced to your child, never a generic script.
Care built around how children actually move.
Every child's plan is individualized — these are the areas of pediatric physical therapy practiced at Dr. Kidz Physio.
Early Intervention · Signature Focus
Newborn and infant programs (0–12 months) covering tummy time progression, head control, rolling, early crawling prep, and midline development — plus high-risk infant follow-up for NICU discharges and infant reflex integration.
Developmental Delays
Support for toddlers (1–3 years) who are behind on movement milestones — including the Walk-Right Program, our signature program for late walkers, toe-walkers, flat feet, recurrent falls, and low core tone.
Delayed Walking
Support for children who are taking longer to walk independently, or who need help building the strength, balance, and coordination that walking requires.
Toe Walking & Gait Concerns
Evaluation and treatment for children with unusual walking patterns, toe walking, frequent tripping, or difficulty with balance while moving.
Balance, Coordination & Movement
Play-based core strengthening and balance circuits — postural endurance, sitting tolerance, and playground skills like climbing, jumping, and running.
Hypotonia & Weakness
Functional strength and fitness programming for children with low muscle tone, poor endurance, or general weakness.
Neurological Conditions
Neurodevelopmental therapy (NDT) for early cerebral palsy intervention, hemiplegia and brachial plexus injury, and torticollis correction — with tone modulation, adaptive handling, and hands-on parent coaching.
Orthopedic Concerns
Post-surgical and orthopedic rehabilitation, plagiocephaly (flat head) screening and correction, and positioning plans built around each child's growth.
Strength, Balance & Movement
Building the underlying strength, balance, and coordination children need to keep up with peers and move confidently — with sports readiness as one part of this, for children who fall frequently or want a stronger foundation for physical activity.

"The purpose of an evaluation is not to label your child. It is to understand how your child is moving today, and identify practical ways to support the next step."

Dr. Mirnalini, PT, DPT
Dr. Mirnalini is a pediatric physical therapist with 15+ years of experience across the United States and India. She trained and practiced across pediatric hospitals, outpatient therapy settings, and school-based programs in New Jersey and New York — including a renowned children's specialty hospital, where she treated infants and children with neurological, orthopedic, and developmental conditions — before bringing that global training and experience home to build Dr. Kidz Physio in Hyderabad.
Her areas of focus include Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT), sensory-motor integration, gross and fine motor development, and post-surgical and orthopedic rehabilitation — always delivered through play, encouragement, and clear communication with families.
As Dr. Kidz Physio grows, care is guided by Dr. Mirnalini's approach and delivered by a small, personally trained pediatric team — so every child is seen with the same individualized attention, consistency, and communication with families.
Your child's therapy should feel personal.

What parents say.
We reached out to Dr. Mirnalini for my daughter when she was then 10 months old, with low muscle tone that was delaying her milestones. Her accurate assessment, early intervention, and able assistance with targeted physiotherapy has greatly impacted my daughter's growth and development — she has been able to reach her milestones in just 2 months, at par with where she is supposed to be. For new parents like us, her advice and treatment was easy to understand and follow through. Very happy to have a brilliant medical professional with years of experience and hands-on, gentle, and caring help.
Dr. Mirnalini is very kind, patient, and gentle with children. She never rushes the sessions and carefully listens to parents' concerns before guiding us accordingly. She has great knowledge and experience in pediatric physiotherapy. What we appreciate most is her active involvement of parents during therapy sessions and the home-based activities she suggests for continued progress. Her personalized approach has helped our child improve significantly with milestone delays caused by low muscle tone. I would highly recommend her for assessment and therapy sessions.
We are grateful for the care, patience, and professionalism shown by Dr. Mirnalini mam. Her support has made a noticeable difference in my daughter's progress and confidence.
